    That already happens now - books are resold all the time and the publisher only sees the first sale, not the second.

    That's the point, why deeply discount the e-versions when they are tied to your account, or am I mistaken in the belief that one cannot transfer the title to another?

    Don't get me wrong, I'd like nothing better than to register my printed material in order to gain access to the e-version, for a nominal fee of course, in order to be able to rapidly search and notate. But I'm not holding my breath for this to occur anytime soon. :yellowbig

    Dunno - I haven't tried to give anyone an ebook. I believe it's tied to your account, but I'm not sure.
